about

After several years away from consistently producing some of house music's deepest and most sought after tracks, one of house music's most legendary producers DJ Ra-Soul has returned. Ra-Soul has teamed up with multi-instrumentalist and DJ Don Crisp to form Crisp Recordings, a brand new label out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Together they bring forward a unique blend of sound which is certain to please deep house lovers across the world.

Their debut release titled "Mulberry Street" is deep house music at its finest! The bass weaves itself in and out of a very intricate blend of polyrhythmic percussion layered with delicately placed synths. "Mulberry Street" features parts of speeches of Martin Luther King, Jr. (who was assassinated on Mulberry Street) and South Africa's own Nelson Mandela. This accompaniment of music and vocals embodies a strong feeling of fellowship and universal highness.
